The categories
How to take part
As set out in Art. 15 of the Bylaws, the association has five membership categories — Founding, Professional, Honorary, Amateur and Ordinary — designed to welcome both those who live the euphonium at a professional level and those who play it for the love of it. Here are the annual fees and what each category offers.
For all members
- Participation — take part in the association's activities and events and contribute to shaping its program.
- Membership card — enjoy the benefits and agreements linked to it.
- Transparency — consult the corporate books and obtain copies of resolutions within 7 days of request.
- Voting and office — after 90 days from registration in the members' book, vote at the assembly, elect the governing bodies and stand for election, approve financial statements, bylaws and regulations.
Ordinary Member
€15 per year
Individuals, entities or institutions that support the association's life with their ideal or financial contribution.
Benefits and opportunities
- Priority access — to concerts and events organized or promoted by the association.
- Support for the mission — help spread the word about the euphonium: concerts, conferences, outreach activities, recovery of the Italian repertoire and new compositions.
- Be part of the community — join as a full member the association of Italian euphonium players and people who love the instrument.
Amateur Member
€25 per year
Students and practitioners of the euphonium. This category is open to professionals too: if you don't think of yourself as an amateur, but wouldn't sign up as a Professional Member either, this is the right category to join the association.
Benefits and opportunities
- Listing in the Register of Euphonium Players — entry in the association's official register.
- Access to the Marketplace — sell and trade instruments and accessories, exclusively related to the euphonium world.
- Priority access — priority registration for masterclasses, concerts and events organized or promoted by the association.
Professional Member
€60 per year
Professional musicians, teachers and advanced-level euphonium players, individuals, entities or institutions that make a significant contribution, through their work or their support, to the association's life.
Benefits and opportunities
- The most complete package: includes everything offered to the Amateur Member, plus:
- Résumé on the website — updating and publication of your résumé on the association's website.
- Showcase and promotion — space to promote your activities (concerts, masterclasses, courses, conferences, recordings or publications) through the association's channels.
- Free loan — borrow the association's materials and assets (scores, accessories and more), per the regulations.
Honorary and Founding Members. Honorary Members are individuals unanimously appointed by the Board of Directors, on the President's proposal, for special merit; Founding Members took part in establishing the association (see the Founding Members page). Both categories are exempt from the annual fee and enjoy all Amateur and Professional Member benefits.
How to join. Applications are reviewed by the Board of Directors. To join, write to info@euphoniumitaly.com stating the category you're interested in.
